# Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Connector

## About

Use the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations connector to retrieve your financial data. Combine this data with other sources to get a holistic view of your organizations operations.

You can connect to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations account in the Data Center. This article explains the fields and menus that are specific to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Connector user interface. To add DataSets, set update schedules, and edit DataSet information, see [Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector](https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360042926274?language=en_US "Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector").

## Connecting to Your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Account

This section lists the options in the **Credentials** and **Details** panes in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Connector page. The components of the other panes in this page, **Scheduling** and **Name & Describe Your DataSet**, are universal across most connector types and are discussed in great detail in [Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector](https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360042926274?language=en_US "Adding a DataSet Using a Data Connector").

## Credentials Pane

This pane contains fields for entering credentials to connect to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations account. The following table describes what is needed for each field:

<table border="1" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" data-aura-rendered-by="33:195;a"><thead><tr><th colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p><span class="s1"> Field </span></p></th><th colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p><span class="s1"> Description </span></p></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Client ID </p></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p><span> Navigate to <b><a href="http://portal.azure.com" rel="noopener" target="_blank"> portal.azure.com </a> > Azure Active directory > App registrations </b>. Find web app and click the web app. The Application ID from the web app is the client id. </span></p></td></tr><tr><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Client Secret </p></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Navigate to <b><a href="http://portal.azure.com" rel="noopener" target="_blank"> portal.azure.com </a> > Azure Active directory > App registrations </b>. Find the web app and click the web app. Go to <b> settings > Keys </b> and create the client secret. </p></td></tr><tr><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Tenant ID </p></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p><span> Enter your tenant domain name. </span></p></td></tr><tr><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Resource URL </p></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p><span> Enter the Resource Domain URL. </span></p></td></tr></tbody></table>

Once you have entered valid Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations credentials, you can use the same account to create a new Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations DataSet. You can manage connector accounts in the **Accounts** tab in the Data Center. For more information about this tab, see [Managing User Accounts for Connectors](https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360042926054?language=en_US "Managing User Accounts for Connectors").

## Details Pane

This pane contains a primary **Reports** menu, along with various other menus which may or may not appear depending on the report type you select.

<table border="1" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" data-aura-rendered-by="33:195;a"><thead><tr><th colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Menu </p></th><th colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Description </p></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Data Entities </p></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p> Select the data entity for your report.
